founded in 1972.
The Chappelow name has been associated with diving in Newcastle since 1955. Bill Chappelow prior to moving to Newcastle in 1955 worked as a heavy dress (standard Dress) diver on the construction of Warragamba Dam 1947-1955. Hunter Allied Diving Service P/L has been successfully owned and operated by his son and daughter since 1980. Managing director, Greg Chappelow has 33 years diving experience qualifications, Master 5, Med 2, Powderman, Rigger, Crane Chaser, Scaffolding, Commercial Diving ( Commonwealth of Australia) Part 3 Diver Chamber Operator. All diving crews carry Commercial Diving (Commonwealth of Australia) certification and many years diving experience. All work to and comply with AS2299. We have available and can equip 4 fully suited dive crews including 2 full environmental systems. Our office/workshop is situated in Carrington adjacent to Newcastle Harbour. We offer a 24hr, 7 day service. |
